The global epidemic of obesity has been ongoing for several years and appears to be worsening, with significant consequences for health as well as substantial socio-economic impact. Classic dietary and lifestyle interventions show relatively modest results, which are often not maintained over time. Therefore, new approaches are necessary. Polyglucosamine L112 has been shown in multiple studies to contribute to weight loss in addition to diet and demonstrates an excellent safety profile. It is, therefore, a new weapon against obesity.
